FHM was formed in 1928 and has been involved in improving local housing for over 70 years.

They are dedicated to redeveloping homes and communities, working solely in the public sector for a variety of Local Authorities, ALMO’s and Housing Associations.

The partnership between FHM, Ashfield Homes and the Council is due to run from January 2009 until March 2015, and is planned to invest approximately £20-25million into the council’s housing stock, mainly through the ongoing replacement of kitchens, bathrooms, central heating systems, electrical installations, roof coverings, and windows.

This programme of replacement works will allow the Company and Council to maintain the Governments Decent Homes Standard.
